BSSL has been a member of the MULTOS Consortium since 2018. Our collaboration combines P3® data preparation with the highly secure MULTOS smart-card platform to enable reliable in-branch card issuance.

P3® prepares the cryptographic keys, EMV information, payment application and personalised card data. This information is used to create an encrypted MULTOS Application Load Unit, or ALU.

The ALU is created specifically for the intended MULTOS card and can only be decrypted and loaded by that card. The file is transferred to the branch issuance environment
